I am going to tell the bad experience I had when
I flew United Airlines. My problems started when I
got at my destination, but my baggage not. Ok, I
understand that this is a routine in all airports.
The second problem is that I am
vegetarian and everytime I have to take an
international flight, I have to request vegetarian
meal on board. On my way back to Brazil, the flight
attendant took almost 1 hour to let me know that there
was no vegetarian meal on board. After all the
passengers had their dinner, the trays were picked
up and the lights were turned off, I was informed
that my meal was not on that flight.
The worst is still to come! The flight attendant
suggested me to eat pasta with chicken breast,
because that was "the only vegetarian meal available
on this flight". That's right! I thought I had skept
some biology classes because I know that chicken is
an animal, not a vegetable!
After I told them that that meal was not vegetarian,
a second flight attendant brought me a plate with 6
small pieces of pinapple, some grapes and 3 pieces
of orange. That was all during an 11-hour flight.
I have never had this kind of problems with other
airlines. This was my first time flying United
Airlines and I am sure it was the last! All this
situation shows that customer service is extremely
precarius and all companies really need to train
their employees better.
World is so dynamic. It changes every day as
businesses need to follow these changes about people
behavior.
